Easy Solution to broken manual chime box
"I know its hard to believe that I could review this product before it is available, but I bought my "Lorex doorbell with wifi chime bundle" from Costco before Lorex even had it available. This wifi chime works with the bundled Lorex doorbell. It connects to your wifi and makes a long chime melody when someone rings the Lorex doorbell. I think chime length can be adjusted, but I like the long melody. There is approximately 1 - 2 second delay between the pressing of the doorbell and the ringing of the chime. Which I think is super fast! I bought 2 doorbell/wifi chime bundles from Costco. I installed one doorbell on the first floor, and one wifi chime on the first floor. I installed one doorbell and one wifi chime on the second floor. Via the Lorex app, I paired doorbell 1 with chimes 1 and 2, and doorbell 2 with chimes 1 and 2. Both chimes ring on each floor when someone presses the doorbell (the app on my phone also rings, almost like a phone call). I will buy more Lorex wifi chimes when they become available to add additional "ringers" to my basement and my garage. They are so simple to install and pair. No wiring to the transformer is required, and the "chime kit" that comes with the doorbell is also not required, unless you want your old manual chime to work. More please."
