Lorex has you covered - day and night - with this powerful 4K IP security camera system. Capture the details you need with 4K resolution

The cameras in this Nocturnal security system use an 8.51 MP image sensor. This sensor is the reason these cameras record crisp 4K video that is well-defined and highly detailed. They also use wide-angle lenses that provide expansive field-of-views.

4K resolution image vs 1080p

4× better than 1080p

The additional resolution provided by your 4K security cameras might turn out to be the difference you need. Should an incident ever occur on your property, you will be able to digitally zoom in further on distant objects when analyzing footage. This is because every frame contains 4× more pixels than you would receive with a 1080p HD security camera. So the details won't blur together as quickly when you zoom in, which means you have a much better chance to capture the specific evidence you require.

30 Frames Per Second real-time NVR recording

Smooth 30FPS recording

The cameras in this system are capable of recording at a real-time 30 frames per second (FPS) recording rate in 4K Ultra HD resolution. This high frame rate will provide you with exceptionally smooth on-screen movement and help capture the precise moment you need for evidence, simply because there are more frames available to choose from.

Bought this package after a

"Bought this package after a lot of research. The cameras and system are great and high quality. I initially had some problems connecting to the mobile app, but found out it was my CAT5 wiring. Got that resolved after calling Lorex tech support a couple times."

We have this system for

"We have this system for 4 months... Just had our first outdoor camera fail due to water inside the camera. Customer support keeps demanding a 'device ID' to process the replacement...There is no 'device ID' on the camera. Camera is 'rated' IP67, which, among other things, means immersion in 1m of water for 30 minutes.... Guess their ratings don't really match up to reality... They'll also only replace a camera for the same problem 1 time... Support says to put a cover over it, although there already is an 12" overhang less than a foot above it...Otherwise, decent system, but this interaction leaves a sour taste in our mouths... -1 star for bad camera/ratings, -1 for support"

First of all, this system

"First of all, this system has a true night vision system. You can also have 2 way communication with camera (using your smartphone) and the system is a REAL 60fps at 4k resolution on ALL 16 camera: Most system are 60fps for 1 camera but fall back to 30 fps or less when you run multiple camera. This system does save in 4k resolution at 60fps for 16 camera. At this price, no system can beat that. image quality is 10/10 night vision quality is 10/10 recording quality 10/10 ease to setup 5/10 they really need to work on the UI documentation 7/10 note: the translation in all 3 language are perfect but there are information you must fetch online, like how to send up a Lorex ddns account"

the system is easy to

"the system is easy to setup & works well. But hope it all goes well because the customer service is a joke . From call backs that never happen to out right lies to get off the phone."

Jason (3/5)

We've had this system in

"We've had this system in use for over a year with no issues and great resolution. System setup was very easy and have not had any need to contact Lorex support. We've had other Lorex systems and have consistently been very impressed with quality for the price.,"

Jtb (5/5)

I really like these cameras.

"I really like these cameras. The image quality is very well, which is ultimately what I was looking for. I also wanted a non-cloud based solution so that I could use my system with or without internet and apps. This system checks that box as well. I was also successfully able to connect my wifi Amcrest camera to this NVR using ONVIF, so that was a nice bonus. That being said, the Color Night Vision is not what the marketing materials make you think (at least in my situation). We have uplights around the perimeter of the house and even with all that extra light I can still see more by simply using the normal night vision setting. I also found that most of the image adjustments settings (HDR, DNR, etc) end up in a lower quality image. So, if you are looking at purchasing for those options, you will probably be disappointed. If you simply want a high quality image and typical night vision, then these are great. My only other issue is with the NVR. At times, when viewing the live feed with multiple cameras, some of them are black and at other times the video feed does not appear to be recording (or at least when I try to playback a feed I just see black). I recently sent an email to Lorex tech support about this and am still awaiting a response. If the NVR issues get resolved I would say this is a solid 4 to 4.5 star system (removal of a star due to those aforementioned features not being what I hoped they would be). If the NVR issues do not get resolved, I would obviously be dropping the star rating significantly."

I would recommend this as

"I would recommend this as a reasonable NVR package product. The picture is clear and the interface is pretty easy to use. Color night mode and night vision with IR are also great and help give us piece of mind!"

Really good system with no

"Really good system with no recurring fees. Mobile app not as good as some competition, like best and others, better video quality though"

Griz (4/5)

This is an impressive, easy

"This is an impressive, easy to connect system. Everything works as hoped right out of the box. I did use Lorex Technical support when upgrading the FLIR Cloud Client and support was prompt and complete. The Tech Rep stayed on the phone for as long as needed."

Jtb (5/5)

Camera quality is great. Software

"Camera quality is great. Software works well - Nice to be able to see on phone and remote computers as well as the monitor. We got more than enough cable to run the cameras. I wish the mount had a better range of motion. Customer service not so much - just watch out for them adding on a yard sign to your order, ignoring the 'don't send it' message after they acknowledge the message and sending it anyway, and then having to nearly pay for it in shipping charges when shipping it back."
