"Disappointed. Up to 45 secs. for cameras to come online each time I open app. I have Starlink so no slowness on my end. After hitting privacy mode, pan tilt camera turns around to "block itself" and sometimes is unable to reorient back to subject through pan tilt toggle icon in app. Camera locks up. Manually needs to be oriented. Not good if I'm out of town and checking on cat through camera. App icons do not match instructions for troubleshooting. Please fix this Lorex because dual camera is nice to have."

Wonderful. I wanted two cameras

"Wonderful. I wanted two cameras to see my children playing. I use Lorex on the outside of my house for security, but on the inside it is our infant crib cameras, this one is being used in the playroom so we can maneuver one should they play in different areas but keep a static view of the main play area. Lorex is the best, and I only use them. We even returned the fancy baby cameras and only use Lorex in bedrooms. They load fast, look clean, and the usb ability means I plug right into wall"

I bought 2 of these

"I bought 2 of these for my house in Florida. I set them up and they worked great! I left the house to head home, got two hours away and both cameras are offline and I can not re start them. So I like the product, but my 1st experience could have been better. I will be back at the house in August I will re-set both and see if thing go better. - Thank you"

Can only view cameras if on the SAME wifi

"Quite interestingly, and after extensive testing, the only way to connect this camera to your wifi network is to make sure the device you are using the Lorex Connect app on is also connected to that wifi network. While this is not inherently an issue, the problem arises when you realize that you can only ever view the camera (both the live feed or the playback options) if you’re device is currently on that same network. What this means is that you can only use your security camera when you are literally in the same place as it. And all of the responses by Lorex claiming a “firmware” update will fix any issues are simply a jargon-filled way to make it look like they are doing something about this. So, in short, the camera works, the quality of the picture is surprisingly good, but you can only, ONLY use this camera if you are currently on the same wifi network as the camera is connected to. TLDR: can’t view live feed or playback unless on the same wifi network rendering the point of a security camera void since you can only use it at home. Outstanding work Lorex, honestly. Utterly fantastic waste of money."

Super disappointed

"Im super disappointed of this new app Lorex connect with this camera. I already have outdoors cameras that work so well and I thought all Lorex caméras we’re great but not this one. First the app Lorex connect is so slow, don’t have a lot of features and is not friendly user. Then on the other side you have the camera that don’t seem to be able to connect. There’s a « network » issue. I’m so disappointed on this item."

Will this camera work if it is against a window to look outside?
This setup is not recommended, as infrared light reflects off the glass and can interfere with both night vision and motion detection.
does it plug in?
This Wi-Fi camera is designed to work as a standalone device, connected to power at all times and to the Lorex connect app via Wi-Fi.
Can I connect this to my 4K 8 ch hd fusion system wirelessly or it works separately? Thank you.
This camera is not compatible with Fusion recorders.
