"After a couple of weeks I found the camera is reliable using 5Ghz wifi. I don't have a wifi6 capable router. Router is three walls and 20 feet away. Settings are easy to adjust. I have a 150 down and up internet plan so remote viewing is quick. A good alternative to buying an NVR or cloud storage is the onboard sim card."

16 Lorex Cameras doing fine

"I have been buying Lorex equipment for a while now and have spent a bunch of money on Wi-Fi cameras. By now I wish I had gone with PoE cameras but although complete systems were not expensive, I was put off by the idea of paying to have Ethernet cable installed, which I did anyway for my home LAN. In any event I currently have a total of 15 cameras and 1 video doorbell. These are composed of: 1 LOREX 2K VIDEO DOORBELL B451AJ-Z 8 LOREX 4K 180° CAMERA W891UAD 5 LOREX 2K CAMERA W461ASC 2 LOREX 4K CAMERA W881AAD I have ordered two more LOREX 4K CAMERA W881AAD to replace two LOREX 2K CAMERA W461ASC. The change is not due to picture quality but to move move devices to 5g on Wi-Fi and reduce strain on 2g. You can imagine that I am satisfied with the overall performance of these cameras. I have had 1 of the 180 degree prematurely die but other than that I have not had major issues."

I think I would have

"I think I would have been better off ordering a system from Temu. And after an average 1 hour on hold when calling Lorex tech support, finally get someone that doesn't know how to resolve my issue. I've had this system for 3 weeks and still have not got one camera view to show up on the monitor. I want to return it all of the equipment at this point."

The installation was a bit

"The installation was a bit tricky because wireless system still has wires that plug into your electrical outlets. Important! you should do the configuration of each camera with its unique numbers and press the reset button before installation outside. We have pretty good angles/views. The clarity is great and they do pick up vehicles, people and pets. Sound is sometimes off and we are still learning how to do the adjust our cameras through the classic Lorex app. Our whole house now feels secured."
