"I have been installing these systems for some time now. I am a self employed IT Network Tech who also installs cameras systems. These are good quality systems that just work. Good motion detection capabilities make finding something on play back easier and not have to search through hours of video. Good night vision that will stay color with a small amount of light. With out ambient light the infrared vision looks great also. Switched to Lorex about 5 years ago and have installed many of these systems. Not had one failure."

"So far I am happy with the product. The camera build quality seems very solid. The mobile app is easy to use and provides the day to day controls I need, and the web browser interface gives the remote NVR access I was hoping for. Picture quality and night vision are very good. I haven't installed the product in its permanent location so can't comment as to long term real-world performance. I ran into some issues with push and email notifications. I contacted customer support several times and was sent firmware updates and was asked to check various settings but with no success . I was eventually able to sort things out on my own. Push problem was caused by face detection being enabled on NVR even though it was disabled on cams. Found it on a hunch. How it got enabled on NVR in the first place is a mystery. Test emails were being successfully received but motion alert emails were not. Again on a hunch, I checked my spam folder and there they were. Once that was addressed email worked as expected. My system will be installed in a remote location. Prior to receiving the product I called support to find out what sort of remote NVR access is available. I was told it was not possible to access the NVR directly. I wanted to be able to check logs, adjust schedules and tweak settings I considered cancelling my order but it sounded like tha that the mobile app was robust enough to give the day-to-day essentials. Upon setting up for testing I read in the manual that the NVR could be accessed via web browser. I logged in via browser and found that everything I asked about was available. The support agent never said any about this and seemed annoyed when I pursued the question. So, I am left with doubts about support and probably would have given a higher score had it not been for that. David P"

"Purchased 16 channel nvr. Planning to use all channels, channel 10 is not working. Was told to move to other channel (15) it worked and told by customer service to leave there and following day move back to channel 10, should work. It did not. I need all 16 channels, reason why I purchased 16 channel nvr. Also the images that are working com on for about 45 seconds then start turning off, have to be refreshed. Can't understand why that happens. Caught an intruder on my property and sure enough the image blacked out. Very frustrating."

How many wireless cameras come with this system
The N4K4SD‑168WD system supports up to 16 cameras, which may be either wired or Fusion Wi‑Fi models. In "Number of cameras" you can choose how many you want (8, 10, 12 or 16).
That nvr system can hold 12 cameras 4k for 90 days? Cloud storage will apply? and did the nvr Poe?
Video retention depends on several factors, including the storage capacity of the recorder, the resolution of the cameras, the frame rate (fps), and the recording mode (continuous or motion‑based). For example, this bundle with 12 cameras recording at 4K resolution, 15 fps, and using a 4TB hard drive in continuous recording mode will store approximately seven days of footage. Cloud storage is available for Wi‑Fi cameras.

what is difference between model N4K4-1612BD-1 & N4K4SD-1612WD
Both include the same recorder model, but the first includes E842CD which doesn't support two-way audio, has no deterrent lights and detects people and vehicles in addition to general motion, and the second package includes the E893 camera which has deterrent lights, two-way audio and smart detection such as person, vehicle, face and mask detection,safeguard function and quick responses from the app.
