I am very disapointed with

"I am very disapointed with these cameras. The splice distance settings cannot be change, "error, please check network" keeps appearing. The camera image is fisheye, and not acceptable. Nothing stealth about these at all with a bright green light advertising to everybody there is a camera present. I give Lorex a 2 star for these instead of 1, because I like their software."

Not 4k

"This camera claims to be 4K, but the quality does not come close. I have a 2K floodlight camera that produces much clearer and sharper footage than this one. The resolution on this camera feels misleading and doesn’t reflect true 4K performance. The motion detection and recording are also very disappointing. It often records for only 2 seconds even when there is still movement or someone clearly at my door. In contrast, my other cameras continue recording for at least a minute or more under the same conditions. It also frequently fails to detect people walking by, despite being set to the highest sensitivity. Playback is another major issue. When trying to view recordings from earlier in the day or the previous day, the video constantly cuts out every second, making it nearly unusable. None of my other cameras have this problem. There is also a noticeable delay with notifications and live view. By the time I receive an alert and open the camera, the person is already gone, which defeats the purpose of real-time monitoring. The only positives I can mention are the wide field of view and the good microphone quality. Overall, this camera has been very frustrating to use and does not perform as advertised."

"Today I opened the Factory Sealed For Your Protection seal to reveal a used security camera. Not impressed especially that the camera had felt pen markings that read Back Door. Used camera that someone used and returned."

Good for the price.

"Very good image quality, sound is barely OK. Motion detection is flaky and works only within a seemingly short distance, so the wide field of view is misleading as it only captures if the motion happens pretty much in front of the camera. Security lights settings are also a bit of a mistery to me. Night color vision works only if there’s sufficient light, so on a new moon expect a black image. Still, I have 5 and they are superior to other brands. The only real issue is that they do not record even on the local SSD if there’s no wifi. How does that make any sense?"

Yes, the E871 dual-lens camera is the wired IP version that must be connected via cable to a compatible recorder.
