No. Lorex video doorbells include a microSD card slot for local, subscription-free recording. You can add a microSD card (up to 256GB, depending on the model) for extended video storage. Some models also support optional cloud storage for secure off-site backups.

Lorex Wi-Fi video doorbells normally record on motion or event detection to save storage and ensure efficient operation. Continuous recording is possible on some models, but doing so will fill a microSD card quickly and is not recommended for long-term use.
