This device can be added to the LSHSC along with other indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi cameras, video doorbells, floodlight cameras, and alarm sensors.

 

This floodlight camera must be set up first on the Lorex Classic App before adding to the Lorex Classic Center.   Make sure to upgrade the camera to the latest firmware via the App. For instructions, see here.

Dual LED Floodlights

The camera is equipped with dual LED floodlights that can produce a total of 4,000 lumens together. There are three ways of activating the floodlights: motion, on a schedule, or manually. In motion-triggered mode, the lights will automatically turn on when the passive infrared (PIR) sensor detects movement. They will then automatically turn off after the designated duration. You also have the option to activate the floodlights manually or on a schedule through the Lorex Classic app. The two LED floodlights can be independently adjusted vertically and horizontally, so you can create a customized area where you want each floodlight to fall.

 

Real-Time 1080p HD Video

Capture important details with real-time 30 fps (frames-per-second) full 1080p HD resolution recording. A wide-angle lens also provides you with more security coverage and helps with earlier detections.

 

Infrared Night Vision

The Wi-Fi floodlight camera works 24/7. It contains infrared LEDs that allows the camera to see up to 50ft (15m) in the dark.

 

PIR Motion Detection

Capture only the most important moments thanks to the Passive Infrared (PIR) motion detector. This built-in sensor has a 270° horizontal field of view and is designed to sense the infrared energy that emanates from people, animals, or vehicles. This helps to reduce false alarms from other moving objects.

 

Wide Angle Lens

This Wi-Fi floodlight security camera is equipped with a wide angle lens that is ideal for monitoring large areas or doorways. With its 137° diagonal field of view, your Wi-Fi floodlight camera can cover areas of your property that an ordinary camera cannot otherwise accomplish.

Fully Weather-Resistant

The Wi-Fi Floodlight camera is designed for the outdoors. It features an IP65 weather-resistance certification, which means it can withstand all kinds of weather conditions, such as rain and snow. So no matter where you live, the weather won't interfere with your camera's performance.

Easy Remote Connection

This Wi-Fi floodlight camera works with our easy-to-use Lorex Classic app. This app allows you to view live or recorded video from virtually anywhere in the world, talk through the camera, program warning lights, activate the siren, and receive instant push notifications for motion activity.

 

Deterrence Siren

The floodlight camera also includes a deterrence siren to ward off any unwanted visitors. It can be set to activate on motion or triggered remotely from your Lorex Classic App.

 

Two-way Talk

As part of our deterrence system, the Wi-Fi floodlight camera is equipped with a microphone and built-in speaker so you can hear your camera's surroundings and speak through it to people on the other end. This feature is controlled through the Lorex Classic app and can add valuable evidence (like voices) should an incident occur.2

 

32GB of Local Private Storage

The Wi-Fi floodlight camera comes with dedicated local storage. The microSD card slot is located right in the camera body and can be retrieved if needed. Local storage also means no additional storage fees after purchase.

Q&A

Can these be mounted to a ceiling rather than a wall?
Yes, you can install it on the ceiling.
Three questions: 1) Can this floodlight camera V261LCD be connected to my existing Lorex wireless security system L4248 through the Cirrus app? 2) This unit would be connected to an existing switched circuit. There are times when I prefer to just switch the unit off. If I do this, will the system lose all its settings and have to be reset up again when I switch the unit back on? 3) What type of color temp. or kelvin scale are these LED lights?
1) this camera can only work with the lorex home app, so it will not work with the cirrus app, 2) it is not recommended to reboot the systems regularly, but if it is turned off and on, the camera will keep its settings, 3) about the lights the brightness of the white light is 2x2000 lumens and the color is 6500 K.
