Display Issue
"When the system works, it's great. While talking to support, I found out that the NVR system can randomly change it's display settings, so you will get a blank display when attaching a monitor or a TV. It seems counterintuitive for a security system, but I don't work in the security camera industry so maybe it's required. For the people who end up here troubleshooting the same issue, here is the fix. It requires a hard reset of removing the power cord, holding down the front button, plugging in the power cord, and releasing the front button once the system beeps."
