Works Great

"I got this with my new 4K Spotlight Camera so I would not need to manually charge the battery. So far there have been no issues with my setup. The panel is easy to install, easy to adjust and small enough to not be an eye sore. My camera is in a high traffic area and the solar panel (placed for optimal sunlight) keeps the battery between 95% and 100%. It even does well on low light days. I would not enjoy the hassle free use of my camera without it. Highly recommend."

"Cameras are always dead because Northeast Ohio is cloudy a majority of the time. Battery operated cameras are a bad idea in my region. A lesson learned."

Perfect for my situation!

"I bought this solar panel for a camera 17' up on the side of a south facing wall of my house. I mounted the panel one foot below the camera so the sun hits the panel at least 8 hours a day all year around. This panel works perfectly. The camera is a Lorex U855AA. Highly recommend."

I installed a solar panel on my battery operated camera. When it is plugged into the camera it shows a lightning bolt on my screen where it would normally be the battery status. Is this normal or should it show a fully charged status? I did charge the battery all the way prior to installing the solar panel.
