We have use lorex NVR's
"We have use lorex NVR's for at least 15 year. Upgraded to latest model to manage more cameras. Works find. User manual is inaccurate, or incomplete. FAQs are poor substitute. Trial and error is best path to get things running. I bet there is more functionality untapped/hidden inside. I used other smaller and cheaper system for parents house. They are easier to use."

Great system
"I've installed several systems and this was just as easy as the first one I ever installed years ago. The lorex pro app does take some. getting used to with a new look and some new features but nothing you cant figure out within a few minutes scrolling through the screens, the set up is still a simple step by step opening screen. The client loves the clarity of the new cameras compared to their old system."

Dependable system that i personally
"Dependable system that i personally recommend for when when peace of mind matters. I never have issues with these units and have nothing negative to say about them. I would like to see more alert options added, spesifically for when a directly connected PoE camera is down. Presently, i can only monitor networked cameras for uptime which is extra work. Still 5 stars, its a very good system. i look forward to future improvements for my customers!"

The NVR 884A3 works great,
"The NVR 884A3 works great, however it would be much better if it contained comprehensive instructions on operation and each screens detailed functions. I downloaded the manual and certain information is not available. I had to rely blogs to assist me with screen operation. Additionally, I wish the screens had the ability to expand in a larger format (selectable). Some of the screens for viewing only allow a minimum amount of info to be shared, many on multiple pages vs. one expandable screen. Furthermore the 6TB HDD included in my NVR failed about a week after receiving the unit. It divulged the HDD didn't have any space left, despite reformatting several times. When I called Lorex, they didn't have any 6 TB HDDs in stock so they sent me a brand new NVR which I must remove the HDD from and place it in my recently purchased one and then send the NVR they just sent me back to them with the bad HDD? Why couldn't they just remove the 6TB HDD at their source of supply and send it to me? I was also cut-off on my phone calls several times and had to start all over again. They may need to invest in a better phone carrier!"

We converted from a 16
"We converted from a 16 camera analog system to the new 16 camera digital system. That was about a month ago and we still don’t have two of the cameras working. I found when we got the system that we had to replace all of the analog cables with the ethernet cables and also replace all the cameras as they were not compatible with analog cameras. The problem is I’m too old now to crawl in the tight spots to get those cables replaced. The cameras and system seem to work fine for the channels that we have working a big problem with the digital system is very confusing to find out what product to use for online remote viewing. I do not have the remote or Wi-Fi part of the system working I think I’m going to have to call Lorax to find out how to do that. Other than having to replace the cables and the problem with getting the system remotely, I would rate the quality very high."
