  2. This camera features an ultra-low light sensitive image sensor and therefore does not feature Infra-Red LEDs. The camera requires ambient lighting (for example, street/ building lighting, star or moon light) to render a night time image. In total darkness (zero Lux), the camera will not produce a night time image and therefore the camera should not be installed in completely dark areas.
  3. Not intended for submersion in water. Installation in a sheltered location recommended.
  4. You must connect the camera to a supporting H.265 NVR to take advantage of H.265 compression. For instructions on enabling H.265 compression, visit lorextechnology.com/support

"Technical writers must be 5 years old and have English as a second language....horribly written, instructions don't match actual screen applications, missing mouse click commands (i.e. dbl click for preset initialization, manual does not indicate this).Some functionality is not available yet it appears on the menus (i.e. talk, listen, etc.). This manual needs to be updated for these cameras as well as for my NVR (4K+) Cameras are good video quality and the NVR seems to be adequate."

Originally asked, “Does this PTZ camera track movement or does Lorex have plans on updating software to pan with movement, such as a person walking?” Let me reframe the question.. Lorex software has the capability to detect movement in a video. Can it engage with the motor in the PTZ camera to keep a subject in frame? If not, is it possibly a feature in a future software or product release?
Auto Tracking is an advanced function on the PTZ camera that allows it to cover a large area and to automatically detect, follow, and record moving objects, such as a person or vehicle. The auto tracking technology is composed of both AI detection and tracking. However, this feature is available only for N883 and N884 recorders, and for specific PTZ cameras,

You can setup tours for the camera, in order to track a specific area.
