"Rarely works. Always stuck in the loading screen/crashes at every single notification. Tried different routers/ 2. 4 or 5ghz nothing fixes it. Definitely issue with doorbell"

We have a wired Lorex

"We have a wired Lorex doorbell at our main house and a battery-operated one at our cottage. The wired one works all the time. The battery one often goes offline. If the person at the door rings it like a doorbell it works right away but the camera does not report anything for several minutes. It is useful for looking at notifications when we are not there, keeping in mind that there is a significant lag. Great for watching for deliveries. Less useful for speaking to people if they don't ring the bell."

Versatile Doorbell

"In the overall, installation was straightforward (both, physical and app). The model I chose is working as expected, it has been consistent and image quality is excellent. Even at night, the device appears to have IR illuminators. I also like the button light status and how it changes when a person is detected, it kind of bring awareness and to some degree might even be a deterrent. Only concern is with the device being stolen: is the microSD card encrypted, and would anyone be able to extract the wi-fi password? As a physical security professional, I was also able to access the video+audio RTSP and connect to my NVR. I would recommend this product over many others that require subscription, which is the main reason Lorex was chosen."

I like the camera and

"I like the camera and how it preforms but having trouble with two items. 1. My inside chime no longer works no matter what I do, including the electronic unit that it comes with. I have changed out my transformer and that did not help. Can't find any help on line that works so I have resigned to use the camera and have no door bell. 2. It would be good to have an audible alert thru my Lorex app when someone approaches the door or rings the door bell. By the time I figure out that someone has been on site it's to late to use the talk feature of the door cam. Please send more instructions or helps to solve the issue."
