This Nocturnal security system is a complete powerhouse and combines our top-of-the-line 32-channel 4K Network Video Recorder (NVR), a 16-channel PoE switch, and three different varieties of cutting-edge security cameras. Each type of camera within this system is full of high-end capabilities. This includes 4K resolution, full pan-tilt-zoom movement, listen-in audio, and color night vision, just to name a few. With this system, you will have a virtually impenetrable security system of 32 cameras standing guard at all times.
4K security monitoring
A cutting edge 8.51 MP image sensor is at the core of each of the white bullet security cameras. This sensor is capable of recording 4K video, which is especially important for security camera footage. 4K footage will ultimately provide you with the best chance to capture useable evidence should an incident ever occur.
4× optical zoom security camera
The Nocturnal bullet security cameras included here use a unique zoom lens, otherwise known as a motorized varifocal lens, that enables remote customization of your viewing area (and focus). Focus on a small area in astonishing detail thanks to the 4× optical zoom or survey a larger scene for maximum coverage. These adjustments can be easily made with your Lorex NVR or through our free mobile apps.
Additional coverage with PTZ security cameras
This system comes with four PTZ dome cameras. PTZ stands for pan, tilt, and zoom. This means that they can move their lens in virtually any direction, as well as being able to zoom in on objects in the distance. This PTZ camera features full 360° panning rotation, a -15° ~ 90° tilt ability, and a 12× optical zoom lens.
Expanded coverage with built-in microphone
A built-in microphone within this security camera allows for listen-in audio recording.* Audio monitoring can provide you with additional information (such as voices), which could prove to be invaluable should an intrusion or event occur on your property. Audio can also help you interpret events, even if the action takes place away from the camera's field of view.
* Please note, audio recording without consent is illegal in certain jurisdictions. Lorex Corporation assumes no liability for use of its products that does not conform with local laws.
Capture the best images with HDR
All cameras use HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology to ensure every important detail is captured, regardless of the lighting conditions. HDR automatically adjusts the brightness in areas that are either too dark or too over-exposed to decipher details. The result is improved, highly detailed video footage that looks uniform throughout.
DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) technology
Your cameras use DNR to filter out noise from low-light settings as well any noise caused by motion. By eliminating graininess, your camera provides a cleaner, more accurate image with better clarity, sharpness, and improved motion detection.
All-weather security cameras
Mother Nature is no match for your security cameras. Both sets of domes come with an IP66 weather rating while the the Nocturnal bullets come with an IP67 weather rating. Both ratings are considered weatherproof, with IP67 offering even further protection against the elements.

IK10 vandal resistance
This camera comes with an IK10 vandal resistance rating, and is strong enough to withstand violent impacts, unlike conventional plastic security cameras. It is especially useful for "within reach" installations.
Remote viewing keeps you connected
This system can be connected to our innovative Lorex Cloud™ app to watch live views (or recorded footage) of your property from your smartphone or tablet. See exactly what is happening in and around your property or watch recorded playback from virtually anywhere in the world. Just download the free app, scan the QR code on your NVR and start viewing your system securely online. Other cutting-edge features such as custom mobile notifications for motion events make this app an absolute must.
Easy installation with Power-over-Ethernet
This Nocturnal security system is designed with our customers in mind. It features a simplified installation process that only requires a single Ethernet cable connection between camera and NVR. This all-in-one Ethernet cable provides everything you need thanks to Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) technology. Power-over-Ethernet cabling provides:
- Power to the camera.
- A strong network connection.
- Video and audio transmission.
- Remote control of the pan-tilt-zoom functions of the PTZ camera.
- Flexibility when choosing camera positions since no electrical power outlet needs to be close by.
What is the included PoE switch for?
The 32 channel N881 Series NVR supports up to 32 security cameras but only has 16 built-in PoE ports on the back. This is why a PoE switch has been included in this system. By connecting this PoE switch to your system you can accommodate the rest of your security cameras. A PoE switch also opens up the possibility to have your security cameras up to 600ft away from the NVR. Learn more about PoE switches here.
Reliable security grade hard drive with no hidden storage fees
Included in the NVR is two 4TB security-grade hard drives that have been designed to meet the demands of 24/7 surveillance, while also providing ample storage space for all recorded video footage. With the possibility of increasing storage space up to 20TB (2
